Eye drop trial aims to slow vision loss from cataracts

NCT ID NCT07395986

Summary

This study is testing whether a new eye drop called ZOC2017217 can help control age-related cataracts. About 40 adults with cataracts will use the eye drop or a placebo twice daily for 24 weeks to see if it improves vision clarity, reduces cloudiness in the eye's lens, and is safe. The goal is to see if this treatment can slow cataract progression and delay the need for surgery.
