Eye drop showdown: which artificial tear wins for clear vision?
NCT ID NCT06784661
First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested two different artificial tear formulas in 40 healthy adults to see how they affect the eye's surface. One formula contained lipids (oils) and the other did not. Researchers measured changes in the eye's optical quality before and 15 minutes after using the drops. The goal was to understand how each type impacts vision, not to treat a disease.
