Eye drop study reveals how common tests might affect your tears
NCT ID NCT07230548
Summary
This study aimed to understand how four different diagnostic eye drops affect the thickness and stability of the tear film in healthy people. Twenty healthy volunteers received each of the four drops on separate days, and researchers measured their tear film before and after application. The goal was to gather knowledge about how these commonly used drops might impact eye surface health, not to treat any condition.
