First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests two physical therapy approaches for cervicogenic headache, a type of headache that starts from neck problems. Thirty-four adults with neck pain and headaches will receive either eye-cervical re-education exercises or pressure biofeedback training, plus standard therapy. The goal is to see which method better reduces pain, improves neck movement, and restores neck joint sense.

What this could lead to
If successful, this study could show that specific eye-neck exercises are a better way to reduce headache pain and improve neck movement.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 34 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. It compares two therapies, so neither may be clearly better.
