First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether using a special eye care kit or following a detailed eye care protocol can better prevent eye complications in intensive care patients who are on breathing machines. 156 adult patients will be randomly assigned to one of four groups: standard care, care with a kit, care with a protocol, or both. The goal is to reduce swelling, infections, and dry eyes.
