Gas bubble eye treatment: does bleed type matter for recovery?
NCT ID NCT07427160
Summary
This study looks at whether the type of abnormal blood vessel growth affects recovery when treating eye bleeds with a gas bubble procedure. Researchers will follow 60 patients with age-related macular degeneration who receive this treatment within 36 hours of their bleed. They'll compare how well vision improves and the bleed clears up over 6 months based on the specific blood vessel pattern.
