Can a simple wrap keep heart bypass grafts working longer?
NCT ID NCT06629701
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares standard vein grafts used in heart bypass surgery to those wrapped in an external support. The goal is to see if the wrap helps keep the grafts open over time, which could reduce chest pain and shortness of breath. About 150 people having planned bypass surgery will take part, and their graft function will be checked at several follow-up visits.
