First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study talked to 15 people who visit the emergency department many times a year, plus the staff who care for them. The goal was to learn what these patients really need and what challenges staff face. The results will help design a new psychosocial service to better support frequent ER users.
