New toothpaste formula aims to fight gum bleeding

NCT ID NCT07169188

Summary

This study tested whether a new experimental toothpaste containing stannous fluoride could improve gum health and reduce plaque better than a regular fluoride toothpaste. About 154 adults with mild gum inflammation used one of the toothpastes twice daily for 12 weeks. Researchers measured gum bleeding and plaque levels to see which toothpaste worked better.
