Summary
This program offers the VT-X7 system to people with serious infections in their hip or knee replacements who have run out of other options. The treatment uses a special irrigation method with two antibiotics (vancomycin and tobramycin) over 7 days during joint replacement surgery. It is for adults aged 22 to 84 who need their old joint replaced due to infection and have already failed a prior replacement attempt.
