NCT ID NCT04809233
First seen Jun 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This program provides single-patient access to tipifarnib, an experimental drug, for adults with HRAS mutations or peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) who have exhausted standard treatments and cannot join other clinical trials. The goal is to offer a potential treatment when no satisfactory alternative exists. Access is limited to the United States.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
tipifarnib
What this could lead to
If tipifarnib works, it could offer a treatment option for people with HRAS-mutant cancers or PTCL who have no other choices.
What could go wrong
This is an expanded access program, not a formal trial, so results are not systematically collected. Tipifarnib may not work for every patient and could cause side effects.
