Summary
This expanded access program provides DefenCath, a catheter lock solution, to both adults and children who need a catheter for serious medical conditions. The goal is to prevent central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) in patients who cannot join ongoing clinical trials or do not meet the current FDA-approved label criteria. Participants receive the treatment to reduce infection risk while using their catheter.
