Second chance: experimental CAR t therapy offered to patients with no other options

NCT ID NCT05776134

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study gives patients with mantle cell lymphoma or acute lymphoblastic leukemia access to a CAR T-cell therapy (brexucabtagene autoleucel) that didn't pass commercial quality checks but is still considered safe enough for use. Participants must have their own batch of the therapy that meets the study's stricter release criteria. The goal is to provide treatment when no commercial option is available.
