Summary
This program provides controlled access to a special version of a cell therapy (afami-cel) for patients with synovial sarcoma or myxoid liposarcoma when the standard manufactured product does not meet quality specifications. It is for patients who have already been prescribed this therapy but cannot receive the standard product, often because making a new batch is not possible or safe. The goal is to offer a treatment option when no other suitable alternatives exist, based on a careful assessment of the potential benefits and risks.
