Experimental eye drops offered to patients with severe eye condition from bone marrow transplant

NCT ID NCT07210619

Summary

This program provides access to an investigational eye drop treatment called d-MAPPS™ for adults with severe chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease (oGVHD) who have no other good treatment options and cannot join clinical trials. The eye drops contain proteins that may help heal the eye surface in patients who developed this condition after a bone marrow transplant. The treatment is not yet FDA-approved, but eligible patients can request access through their eye doctor when standard treatments have failed.
