Summary

This program gives patients at UCSF access to a special PET scan using 18F-fluorocholine to find parathyroid adenomas—small, benign tumors that cause high calcium levels. It is for people aged 13 and older with confirmed primary hyperparathyroidism. The goal is to better locate these tumors before surgery.
