First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting exosomes (tiny particles from cells that help repair skin) into atrophic scars can improve their appearance. Twelve adults with multiple depressed scars on their face will receive either exosome or saltwater injections, and neither they nor the evaluator will know which. The goal is to see if exosomes are safe and more effective than a placebo.
