New blood test aims to catch ovarian Cancer's return sooner

NCT ID NCT07153705

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test called OCS, which looks for tiny particles called exosomes, to see if it can detect when ovarian cancer comes back. It focuses on patients whose standard blood marker (CA125) was low when they were first diagnosed. The goal is to find a more reliable way to monitor these specific patients after their initial surgery and chemotherapy.
