NCT ID NCT05265819

First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether combining fun video-game exercises (exergaming) with a Mediterranean diet could help people recovering from thyroid cancer surgery. Eighty adults who had their thyroid removed were split into groups: some did exergaming, some followed a Mediterranean diet, some did both, and a control group received only standard care. The goal was to see if these lifestyle changes could improve immune markers and hormone levels over 12 weeks.
