Researchers ask: which workout games are actually fun?
NCT ID NCT07235631
Summary
This study aimed to understand which types of active video games (exergames) young adults find most enjoyable and believe could help with physical activity. 227 healthy young adults tried several popular gaming systems like VR headsets and fitness games in a lab. Researchers then asked them to rate their enjoyment and opinions on the games' potential for health, but did not test if the games actually improved anyone's fitness.
