NCT ID NCT07551206

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests if short, simple exercises done throughout the day (called exercise snacks) can improve leg strength and thinking in older adults who are starting to become frail. About 60 people aged 70 and older will do three exercises (sit-to-stand, squats, heel raises) in different patterns to find the best way to do them. The goal is to find a practical, easy-to-follow exercise routine that helps older adults stay independent and sharp.
