Study: exercise may be key to better sleep and recovery for stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT07369453
Summary
This study tested whether adding a 4-week aerobic exercise program to standard rehabilitation could help stroke patients who had received treatment for arm stiffness. Researchers wanted to see if the extra exercise improved sleep quality, quality of life, and physical function. The trial involved 56 patients who were randomly assigned to either do the aerobic exercise program or stick with their usual rehab.
