Can exercise shield the heart from Chemo's harm?

NCT ID NCT03787966

Summary

This study tested whether starting a tailored exercise program before breast cancer treatment begins could better protect the heart and reduce treatment side effects compared to starting exercise during treatment. It involved 100 women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Researchers measured heart function, quality of life, and physical strength to see if timing the exercise made a difference.
