Could your Post-Workout supplements be holding you back?

NCT ID NCT07472244

Summary

This study aims to understand if taking common supplements like vitamin C and ibuprofen after hard exercise might interfere with the body's natural way of building protection against future muscle soreness. Researchers will recruit 52 healthy adults to perform a specific stepping exercise and then take either the supplements or a placebo. They will measure muscle function and blood markers to see if the supplements change how well muscles adapt and recover.
