Brain games during workouts may help seniors overcome fear of falling

NCT ID NCT07427225

Summary

This study tests two exercise programs for older adults living in nursing homes to see which better reduces their fear of falling and actual fall risk. It will compare standard strength and balance exercises against a program that adds mental tasks, like counting or memory games, during the physical workout. The goal is to see if training the body and brain together builds more confidence and safety for daily activities.
