Surgeons try workout to fight surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06525701
Summary
This study tested whether a core-strengthening exercise program could reduce physical strain and pain for surgeons performing vaginal surgeries. Eighteen surgeons were involved to see if improving their fitness could lower their risk of work-related muscle and joint injuries. The goal was to prevent pain by making surgeons' bodies more capable of handling the demanding positions required during these operations.
