Exercise program aims to boost quality of life in multiple myeloma patients

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month personalized exercise program, combining home and hospital sessions, can improve quality of life for people with multiple myeloma. About 86 patients aged 60 and older who are not eligible for transplant will be randomly assigned to either receive exercise advice or join the program. Researchers will measure changes in quality of life, pain, muscle mass, and treatment tolerance.
