First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested whether a six-week progressive resistance exercise program could improve back and pelvic movement in 50 women during their second trimester of pregnancy. Half the women did the exercise program while the other half did not. The exercises focused on strengthening muscles that support the lower back and hips. The goal was to see if the program could help maintain or improve mobility and reduce pain.
