First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 12-week physical activity program can improve the mental health and physical fitness of children aged 6-10 living in temporary container cities after an earthquake. About 90 children will be split into two groups: one that takes part in guided exercise sessions and one that does not. Researchers will measure changes in fitness, anxiety, depression, and stress to see if the program helps kids cope better.
