New exercise routine aims to speed recovery after back surgery
NCT ID NCT06014632
Summary
This study tested whether adding a supervised motion control exercise program to standard rehabilitation helps people recover better after lumbar spine decompression surgery. It involved 51 adults who had the surgery 3 months prior, comparing standard care to standard care plus the special exercises for 12 weeks. Researchers measured pain, fear of movement, disability, and physical function to see if the extra exercises made a difference.
