Can hard workouts train your brain to feel less pain?
NCT ID NCT07083219
Summary
This study aims to understand how repeated high-intensity exercise might change the way healthy adults feel pain. Researchers will compare people who do multiple exercise sessions to those who do just one or none, measuring pain sensitivity before and after. The goal is to learn if painful exercise can 'train' the body's natural pain control system, which could inform future pain management strategies.
