Summary

This study looked at whether a program of exercise, nutrition advice, and education could improve the health of older women, both those with and without high blood pressure. Sixty-three women aged 60 and older took part in supervised exercise sessions and received guidance from a team of health experts over 36 weeks. Researchers measured changes in body fat, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and physical abilities like strength and walking speed.
