Mind over menstrual pain: can thinking about exercise help more than just doing it?

NCT ID NCT07196150

Summary

This study aims to see if adding mental training or pain education to a standard exercise program helps young women with painful periods more than exercise alone. Researchers will compare three groups: one doing just exercise, one combining exercise with mental imagery practice, and one combining exercise with lessons on how pain works. The goal is to find better, drug-free ways to reduce menstrual pain and improve daily life.
