Can a personal trainer beat going it alone for diabetes control?
NCT ID NCT06598865
Summary
This study is testing whether a structured exercise program helps control blood sugar better in people with type 2 diabetes when it's supervised by a trainer versus when people do it on their own. It will involve 120 adults whose diabetes isn't well controlled with diet or pills alone. Researchers will measure blood sugar levels over 10 days using a continuous monitor to see which approach works better.
