Can exercise protect young hearts during cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT05539794
Summary
This study is testing if a supervised exercise program during intensive cancer treatment can help protect the heart and improve overall health for teenagers. Researchers will enroll at least 136 adolescents (ages 12-19) in Spain who are newly diagnosed with cancer. One group will follow a structured exercise plan during their 5-6 months of treatment, while the other group receives standard care, to see if exercise makes a difference.
