First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether a structured exercise program (stretching, strengthening, and stabilizing the neck) could improve swallowing and breathing in adults with cervicogenic dysphagia—swallowing difficulty from neck problems. 32 people aged 35-50 took part for 8 weeks. The exercise group showed better swallowing function and posture compared to those who only did standard swallowing exercises.
