Exercise breakthrough for stubborn hypertension?

NCT ID NCT05563077

Summary

This study tests whether two different types of aerobic exercise can help lower blood pressure in people whose high blood pressure doesn't respond well to medication alone. 72 adults with resistant hypertension will try either interval training, continuous training, or continue their usual care for four months. Researchers will measure blood pressure changes and look for related markers in the blood to see which exercise method works better.
