Simple exercises may ease monthly pain for women

NCT ID NCT05960695

Summary

This small study tested whether a program of stretching and relaxation exercises could reduce menstrual pain and improve quality of life for young women with primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods). Researchers compared two groups of 20 women aged 18-25 who led mostly inactive lifestyles. The goal was to see if these non-drug approaches could offer a helpful way to manage common monthly discomfort.
