New study tests exercises to ease pain from pelvic prolapse

NCT ID NCT07440875

Summary

This study is testing which of two exercise programs works better to help women with mild to moderate pelvic organ prolapse. It will compare standard pelvic floor muscle training against that same training combined with a special breathing technique called hypopressive exercises. Researchers want to see which approach better strengthens muscles, reduces pain during sex, and improves overall quality of life.
