Neck exercises show promise for easing swallowing troubles

NCT ID NCT06173388

Summary

This study tested whether a structured program of neck stretching and strengthening exercises could improve swallowing and breathing in people with swallowing difficulties caused by neck problems. 32 adults with this condition, aged 35-50, did exercises three times a week for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in swallowing ability, neck posture, and lung function to see if the exercise program helped.
