First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at whether combining two types of exercises—McKenzie extension exercises and motor control exercises—could help people with long-term, non-specific low back pain. 54 adults aged 45 to 70 took part. Researchers measured pain, back muscle endurance, range of motion, and daily function to see if the combined approach worked better than either exercise alone.
