Can jumping and sprinting help kids with obesity?

NCT ID NCT06727500

Summary

This study is testing two different exercise programs for children with obesity to see which is better for improving muscle and tendon health, body composition, and fitness. It will involve 40 children, who will be randomly assigned to do either high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or HIIT combined with jumping exercises (plyometrics) three times a week for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in the children's strength, fitness, body fat, and quality of life to understand how exercise affects kids at different stages of growth.
