Irish study tests if fewer physio sessions can ease common hip pain
NCT ID NCT05516563
Summary
This study tested whether a shorter version of a proven exercise and education program is practical to deliver in Ireland's healthcare system for people with chronic hip tendon pain. It enrolled 65 adults with hip pain lasting over 3 months to compare a 6-session physiotherapy program against usual care. The main goal was to see if a larger future trial is feasible, not to prove the treatment works.
