Study tests exercise as a heart helper for people with HIV
NCT ID NCT04512456
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week exercise program can improve how the heart and blood vessels respond to physical stress in people living with HIV. Researchers will compare people with HIV who do the exercise program to those who remain inactive, and also to a group of healthy people without HIV. The main goal is to see if regular exercise can help control blood pressure and improve the body's automatic nervous system during and after exercise.
