Pedal power on the dialysis chair: can simple exercises fight brain fog and fatigue?

NCT ID NCT07319468

Summary

This study aims to see if doing light exercises during dialysis treatment can help patients feel better. It will compare two types of exercise—using a foot pedal machine or doing free-movement exercises—against usual care in 69 adults with kidney failure. The main goal is to see if these exercises can reduce severe tiredness and help patients walk farther, while also checking for improvements in mental sharpness.
