NCT ID NCT07152197

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether an 8-week leg-strengthening program can improve muscle quality, daily function, and quality of life in young people aged 15-29 with hereditary nerve disease (CMT). Participants will do supervised lower-body exercises three times a week, starting at moderate intensity and increasing over time. The goal is to see if those with CMT benefit more than healthy volunteers due to starting at a lower baseline.
