Muscle-Building hope for young nerve disease patients
NCT ID NCT07152197
Summary
This study is testing if an 8-week leg strength training program can improve muscle health, physical function, and quality of life in young people aged 15-29. It will compare results between those with a hereditary nerve condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) and healthy individuals. The goal is to see if supervised exercise can help manage symptoms and improve daily life for those with the condition.
