Can simple stretches beat back pain? new study pits upper back vs. hip exercises

NCT ID NCT07482527

Summary

This study aims to find out which type of exercise is more helpful for people with long-term lower back pain from lumbar spondylosis (wear-and-tear arthritis of the spine). Researchers will compare exercises focused on improving upper back mobility to exercises focused on improving hip mobility, with both groups also doing core strengthening. The goal is to see which approach better reduces pain, improves movement, and lessens fear of activity in 60 participants.
