Can playtime shape a Child's brain? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07307742
Summary
This study aims to understand if a fun, structured exercise program can improve both physical movement skills and brain function in preschool children. About 110 healthy children, aged 4 to 6, will be randomly assigned to either a special motor-skills play program or regular kindergarten gym class for 16 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in the children's running, throwing, and catching skills, and also use a safe, portable brainwave scanner to see if the exercise affects their attention and memory.
