Can a bike ride boost your Brain's flexibility? scientists test exercise and brain zaps

NCT ID NCT07438808

Summary

This study aims to understand how a single session of moderate cycling exercise affects the brain's ability to adapt and change, especially when combined with a mild, non-invasive brain stimulation technique. Researchers are comparing healthy older adults (65-80) and younger adults (20-35) to see if exercise can help counteract age-related declines in brain flexibility. Participants will complete sessions involving cycling, rest, and brain stimulation while scientists measure brain activity related to movement control.
